EMPOWERING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN

Help Improve Children's Lives in Senegal

The Challenges in Senegal Healthcare
  • The Albert Royer National Children’s Hospital is the largest children’s hospital in Senegal which currently has 120 inpatients beds
  • Most families do not have the ability to pay, and most care goes unreimbursed.
  • With an average of 5,200 – 5,300 inpatients per year, and an average of 200 emergency visits and consultations per day, Albert Royer is a busy hospital in much need of expansion, provider training, funding, new equipment and supplies.
